Golden Rule Blogging

Most of us were taught the golden rule as children, “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. Unfortunately, our dog eat dog culture seems to have changed it to “Do one to others before they do one to you”. The Golden Rule Blogging system is designed to help people succeed in the Internet Marketing arena by helping others to be successful. The process requires hard work and dedication but it will produce quantitative and qualitative results for your blog. Perhaps the best part of Golden Rule Blogging is that it is absolutely free. You can not buy your way into the Golden Rule Blogging System.

How the Golden Rule Blogging System Works

For your blog to be successful you need good clean links (lots of them), you need to have a reason for people to visit your blog and come back again (usually this means a significant number of well written, informational articles), and you need to realize it is not going to happen overnight. All of these qualities of a successful blog are developed in the context of community in the blogosphere. Golden Rule Blogging helps to organize you into community groups of 5 bloggers who commit to helping one another be successful. If you are not committed and highly motivated about your blogging success then the Golden Rule Blogging System is not for you.

When you become a part of Golden Rule Blogging you are making a 3 month commitment to a group of 4 other bloggers. Each of these bloggers will have to meet certain requirements to be a part of the program. (The requirements for entry into the program are listed at the end of this article) This will keep the process healthy by only allowing motivated people with a similar skill set into the program.

  • You are allowed to submit one main blog and up to four niche sites into the program. For the 3 months that you commit to the program you will provide a site wide (blogroll) link to each of the blogs in your community group (20) and two links for our use at Blog Consulting (we use the links for this site and as a reward to other sites for recommending the program. If you recommend someone who joins the program you get a site wide link from their blog. A quick note on site wide (blogroll) links..a site wide link doesn’t count as one link, it counts as 1 times the amount of articles on your site…if you write 26 articles in 3 months, everyone you give a site wide link to gets 26 links, it builds up quick if you have a group of 4 people writing articles and pointing site wide links at your site)
  • You will commit to writing at least two articles of 300-400 words on your site every week (the more articles you write every week the better it is for everybody). After you write an article you will notify us by email and we will then include your article link in our daily RSS feed to your community group.
  • You will commit to submitting your best article of the week to Blogging Zoom.com.
  • You will commit to reading, commenting on, and bookmarking (del.icio.us, digg, stumbleit, facebook) the articles written every week by everyone in your group.
  • You will commit to reading and zooming articles submitted by the people in your group to Bloggng Zoom.com.
  • You will commit to writing and publishing two original articles (not articles that you have written for your blog, but original articles about your blog topic) on the Internet every month with either Article Marketers or Ezine Articles (this will benefit your site tremendously and what is good for you is good for the group).
  • You will commit to signing up for the RSS feeds of everyone in your group.
  • If you stay committed to these simple principles you have well over 100 good clean links (the potential is greater than 100) pointed at your main site and at your niche sites at the end of 3 months. You will be involved in an established Internet community.  Your site will show a good level of involvement with the comments of your group (It takes a crowd to draw a crowd).  You will continue to develop good clean links for as long as your community stays together after the initial 3 month commitment. As each of the blogs in your community develop, all of the links get better.
  • After the three month period is over we hope that you will continue to practice the Golden Rule with your community for many months to come.
